Winter mountain day on Parsons Nose

A fantastic day out on Snowdon today. A quick solo of Parsons Nose and then along Crib Coch in really amazing still, crisp and clear conditions. I am so lucky to be able to do this in such amazing conditions, although much prefer those sunny sports crags in Spain.

Massive thanks to Simon for dragging me out. Really social up there today with a bunch of locals enjoying the perfect weekday conditions. Although the snow is not consolidated so gully will be not in nick yet!

Simon Lake on the amazing Parson's Nose, which brings you up to what is normally the end of the difficulties on Crib Y Drygsl, but it is best to head back down this and across Crib Coch and down the North Ridge of Crib COch, to make one of the best technical mountaineering horseshoes in Snowdonia if not the UK.
