Alcalali

Alcalali
Alcalali is a popular spot as it is one of those crags that has a something for everyone. In there are great 4th and 5th grades routes as well as some superb 6th and 7th-grade routes. Whilst some of the harder routes are soft routes not.

The rock climbing in Alcalali is one of the highlights of Costa Blanca circuit. It seems that everyone visits here at some point in their trip to the area and rightly so. The area around Ainee, Ceder No Ceder is a real focal point for most climbers as it serves as a place to either climb great easy routes or warm up.

Whilst there are some great climbs up and left of the Aniee area the main focus for most climbers is to the right. With the really good climbing starting from Yorkshire Lads and stretching to Akram the Terrible and beyond. With Elendigliches 6a+, Diferente Partes 6c and Akram the Terrible 7a, being some of the best examples of there grades in the area. Although some argue they are soft for the grade, which of courses makes them popular.

There is also the neighbour crag of Pena Rojo, just down the road in Lliber, with its classic 6b, Lliberpool.

Both of which are fine crag in the Xalo Valley a minor wine region in Spain, there is even a local bodega which sells the local produce, where you can buy it by the gallon out of petrol type pumps if required.
