ML, SPA and MIA Refresher Courses

ML, SPA and MIA Refresher Courses
Are you heading for an assessment and need a little confidence boost or just need a few questions answered. Maybe you have left it a long time and just need a reminder of whats required?

This course is aimed at people planning to go on a Mountain Training NGB assessment in either Summer Mountain Leader, Single Pitch Award, Climbing Wall Award or Mountain Instructor award and want to refresh skills that are hard to consolidate alone. We have also had people attend the course as a form a CPD having not used their awards for a few years.

This two day course covers much of the ML syllabus to help build your confidence as you prepare for your ML assessment. We aim to cover all the aspects of the syllabus you feel need developing and we will add to your training over the course.

Our instructors are highly experienced at delivering ML award training and assessment course. This means they have a great deal of knowledge from both the technical and softer skills of mountain leadership and the environmental. You will come away from this course knowing exactly where you are and what you need to do before your assessment.

They also have vast amounts of experience in teaching rock climbing at a variety of levels over the last twenty years. So whether you are going for you CWA or SPA and need tips on delivering a session for a group of climbers or you are heading for your MIA and need help with you climbing, rescues, scrambling, teaching climbing or nav days, we can offer fantastic support.

You should allow at least a month between any refresher and your assessment just in case you need to work on the weaker aspects of the syllabus we overcover for you.
