Guided Snowdon Walks

Are you not sure about climbing England and Wales' highest mountain, Snowdon? Maybe our guides can help you reach the summit safely.

Hundreds of thousands of hillwalkers and tourist ascend Snowdon every year. Many do this successfully without a guide. However every year hundreds require rescuing from Snowdon. Often because they underestimate the difficulty. The local rescue team responds to nearly 300 rescues a year, nearly one every day. So if you want to avoid becoming a Mountain Rescue statistic then snowdonia mountain guides offer a excellent guiding service.

What we offer is a friendly, qualified and experience service. With all our guides being local. Our guides will have climbed snowdon many times before via all its routes. This means they will know what route will suit you best and how to pace the day to suit you. They will know just what conditions to expect high on the mountain. On top of this they will be a font of knowledge when it comes to the history of the area and stunning landscape you will be in.

We will discuss the route choice with you before the day, check you are suitably equipped before guiding you up one of the many routes to the summit and then safely back down again.

These route include:

  • the PYG Track,
  • The Miners Track,
  • The Watkin Path,
  • The South Ridge,
  • The Rhydd-Ddu Path,
  • The Snowdon Ranger path and
  • the Llanberis path.
  • We also guide the harder routes and scrambles like the Parson's Nose and Crib Coch for appropriately experience groups and individuals

Our guides know Snowdon and the surround area intimately and as well as keeping you safe will no doubt open your eyes to the environment and beauty often hidden in plan sight.
