Reflective Practice for Climbing Instructors

Reflective Practice for Climbing Instructors

An introduction to reflective practice for climbing coaches, instructors and supervisors.

If we want to be the best we can at the job we do, we need to understand and engage in some form of reflective practice. This evening session focus' on several models for reflective practice, as well as a performance profile for the mountaineering instructor/SPA Holder to help you devise a action plan to work on your weakness and push up against your comfort zone.

The evening workshop is run by Mark Reeves a mountaineering instructor with an MSc in applied sports science and effective coaching. This is a joint CPD session with the MTA.

The workshop takes place at the Beacon Climbing centre between 7pm and 9pm
